The first of a new type of scale model using 3D formed skins for lightweight realistic modeling. Avoids using lots of parts and minimizes tape and glue. I underestimated how light it was and overbuilt the nose, so I had to add ballast to the tail, making it heavier than it needed to be, but it is still pretty light and maneuverable. I should have used the extra tail weight for an all-moving tailplane, but I needed to know that earlier in the design process. It has proven to be a good flying and durable design.
