An advancement on the NASA Scissor wing concept, where twin wings mounted on a central paper axle can either merge into one swinging wing, or swing separately to make an “X” or an asymmetric configuration. The straight wing glided, X-configuration tended to pitch up, and asymmetric configurations often tended to initiate a roll or turn.
