A novelty item. The first one had more rounded features and flew better. The design for the contest was a bit more angular on the front and top, so the airflow did not stay attached as well and it did not have enough lifting body effect to fly as well as it should have, but at least it flew, which was all that was required under the aesthetic design rules.
